From Original Source, started over 25 years ago. Geoff, the founder of Original Source had spent many years traveling across Japan, China, Thailand, India & Vietnam and was fascinated by the use of symbolism and spirituality in their giftware. He wanted to offer gifts with purpose and stories. And even more importantly, he wanted to work directly with artisans. They set up their own sourcing office in Asia – cut out all middlemen, importers & trading companies – and made sure all of the artisans were treated with respect and compensated fairly.
