SUMMARY:Rune Readings with Adam Davis
DESCRIPTION:The runes have been used in Germanic and Scandinavian traditions for divination\, as talismanic symbols\, for blessings\, and otherwise. Rune readings can provide powerful and direct messages as well as help with explorations of complex patterns. Assistance with the work of the moment and other life aspirations can come through working with the runes. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThese divination sessions at Radiance will provide space and time for folks to tap into wisdom and support through multidimensional engagement with the runes. Information from folklore (rune poems\, norse mythology\, and more)\, conversations with the runes\, casting and drawing techniques\, and other sources of inspiration can guide us to relevant insights. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAdam’s work with the runes has evolved over the years\, supported by teachings from numerous rune masters as well as personal explorations. He has experience with both elder futhark and anglo-saxon rune divination\, Rún Valdr (use of runes in healing)\, Rune Galdr (ceremonial singing of the runes)\, and other manifestations of the runes. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nA 3-rune reading will take about 20 minutes and cost is $20\, 4-rune reading is $25\, 5-rune reading is $30 and will take 30 minutes. DESCRIPTION:Originally scheduled for earlier this Spring\, and postponed when a family member contracted Covid\, we have now rescheduled this reception! \n\n\n\nRobert says\, “Now that I’ve defied COVID and even a blast of pneumonia\, the reception for my latest show of recent paintings has been rescheduled for July 1 at Radiance here in Lancaster. “Dark days: New paintings from isolation\, tribulation and the pandemic” includes 23 pictures responding\, after a fashion\, to the perspectives of the past two years. Included are a number of oil pictures on linen or wood\, as well as a selection of watercolors. The reception will be held at Radiance from 4:30-7 p.m. on July 1\, as part of downtown Lancaster’s First Friday\, so please plan to attend. I certainly will be there. \n\n\n\nRobert Rhodes lives and paints in Lancaster\, Pennsylvania.  He is a familiar figure walking around town\, gathering inspirations. \n\n\n\nRobert is a prolific artist\, and his paintings hang in private collections around the world. \n\n\n\nRobert says\, “To me\, my paintings are primarily emotional statements — landscapes and likenesses of memory and situations.” \n\n\n\nPlease stop in and have a look.
