The Attarwala family behind Nemat has been involved in the art and science of making attars for over 170 years. Attar is the name given to fragrant oils made from extracts of flowers, herbs, woods etc. The family name ‘Attar’+’wala’ means “possessor of perfumes”. The family traces its roots to the beautiful city of lakes, Udaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, India. This is where their forefathers began experimenting and tinkering with the art of attar creation. Ever since, we have been dedicated to capturing and bottling the emotions of nature through a blend of art and science held together by our heritage.
Throughout the 170 years of their existence, we have preserved and refined our practices to ensure the authenticity of our products. Embedded in the design of all products and packaging are distinct impressions of their culture and legacy to which they pay homage. Additionally, the entire collection of their products are Vegan, Cruelty-free, Phthalate, Paraben and Glycol free. The Perfume Spray is made with 100% organic alcohol.
