Eleuthero root (Eleutherococcus senticosus)

Eleuthero root is best known as an adaptogen and has been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years for increasing stamina, invigorating kidney & spleen chi, and promoting overall health. An adaptogen increases “non-specific resistance of an organism to adverse influence.”

Eleuthero, also called Siberian Ginseng, is a member of the ginseng family, which includes American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius), although their actions are different and are not considered interchangeable.
