Milk thistle seeds have long been used in formulas for liver and gall bladder health. Thought to increase secretion and flow of bile.
Also thought to increase flow of milk in nursing mothers.
Dry toasted in a cast iron skillet, they make a nice crunchy, nutty tasting snack.
