Pipsissewa Leaf

Pipsissewa grows in dry woodlands throughout temperate regions in the Northern Hemisphere, especially throughout southern Canada and the northern United States.

While pipsissewa roots have been used as a flavoring agent in candies and soft drinks, it is the astringent leaves that are employed for their beneficial properties. Pipsissewa is often included in formulas to support prostate health, as well as urinary tract health. You will find it in my DandyLion tea blend.

Pipsissewa herb can be decocted as tea, extracted, or prepared for topical application.
