Wild Cherry is one of the most sacred plants to the Cherokee people, and has been traditionally used to treat all sorts of lung infections.
Osha is indigenous to the high elevation meadows of the Rocky Mountain and Southwest areas of the United States. Also traditionally used for respiratory infections and sore throats. The name “osha” comes from the Native American word for bear, stemming from the relationship that bears seem to have with this plant. Bears tend to feed on osha after hibernation and have often been seen dripping it down onto their fur.
Valerian root is an effective anti-spasmodic, so is very helpful with coughs.
