Burning Herb Bundles

Our burning herb bundles will help to purify your space and bring calm and blessings to your life. Start with an open heart and mind with the intention to receive blessings that will cleanse you and your space.

In North America, we have become familiar with the term “smudging” which comes from indigenous traditions here. There are traditions of burning herbs in many other cultures around the world, including “saining”. Saining is a Scots word for blessing, protecting, or consecrating. Sain is cognate with the Irish and Scottish Gaelic seun and sian and the Old Irish sén – “a protective charm.”  You might want to do some research into the traditions specific to your own heritage. You will be fascinated to learn of the many similarities worldwide.

Our white sage (salvia apiana) is native to North America and is grown on a small farm in Southern California and sustainably harvested. Each bundle is hand-picked, dried, and carefully tied using only the highest quality California White Sage.  Our fragrant sage burns well and smells fantastic.

Choose plain white sage, or bright and vibrant dried lavender flowers wrapped around the sage, rainbow rose petals, or red rose petals.

Each sage bundle measures 4.25 to 4.5 inches in length and is 1.5 inches wide.

Each sage bundle will also come with a beautiful cleansing guideline card that explains how to light and use it.
