54 bead mala of 10mm Picasso Jasper (also called Picasso Marble) beads, strung on 4 strands of silk thread, with a single slip-knot between each bead, and a Dragon and Phoenix carved bone bead for the Mother Bead.
As I made this mala, I sang a traditional Buddhist chant, Om Mani Padme Hum, which is translated to mean Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus, a reference to the divine within.
